Autism Awareness

Our autism awareness workshops were designed by our ambassador Charlie. Charlie is a young girl with autism herself, so she speaks from real life experience. The workshops cover what autism is; what it means for people; and how to break down the negative perception around it.

Children will have a much better understanding and can help build a more accepting society by taking part.

In addition to us working directly with children, we also work with school staff to build understanding around autism. Working closely with ASD leads across the county, we look at ways to support children with and without a diagnosis discussing strategies, whole schools approaches and how to break down the stigma.
